NeuroCognitive Imaging Lab at Dalhousie University

Isabela Hicks recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology along with a certificate in Neurotechnology Innovation. She is currently involved in the ComChERP study, where she assists with data collection. The study looks at how neural processing of reading cues, such as commas and pauses, relates to reading comprehension in children in grades 3 to 5. Since 2024, she has volunteered in the Child Life Playroom at IWK Health. Outside of academics and volunteering, she enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and iced chai lattes.
